Finally, retired!!​

Robyn and I have retired after 90 years of nursing, between us. Sold up bought a caravan . See whats beyond the sunset.

I'm curious how much nursing has changed over the past few decades. Is it still the same job when you started, or have technological advances changed it a lot?

Hi Jonathon Nursing is nothing like it was 46 years. Change to uni not a good idea. Documentation has exploded. And takes time away from patient care. Technology has been good but nothing beats hands on. Monitors etc cannt tell you a patients condition. Wages havent kept up. In all I enjoyed nursing. But its now too bureaucratic.
