Easy n Tasty Sausage Rissoles

This is a new recipe I have made twice and family love it

First time I served with steamed vegies and mash potato

The second time on hamburger buns with salad and that was a huge hit.

Prep time 10 minutes
Cook time 10 minutes

Ingredients​

SAUSAGE Rissole​

  • 500g beef mince (substitute chicken)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme crushed
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • Around 2 tablespoon oil for frying or oil spray

Method​

  • Place sausage rissole ingredients in a bowl and mix with your hands. Divide into 8 rissoles and form around 1 cm thick rissoles.
  • Heat around 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or frypan over medium high heat. Cook half the rissoles for 4 minutes on each side until a nice brown . Transfer to a paper towel lined plate. Heat remaining oil and cook remaining rissoles
NOTES
Freeze uncooked rissoles in seperate freezer bags. Can freeze for up to 3 months. Make sure you label and date it
