  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme crushed
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • Around 2 tablespoon oil for frying or oil spray

Method

  • Place sausage rissole ingredients in a bowl and mix with your hands. Divide into 8 rissoles and form around 1 cm thick rissoles.
  • Heat around 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or frypan over medium high heat. Cook half the rissoles for 4 minutes on each side until a nice brown . Transfer to a paper towel lined plate. Heat remaining oil and cook remaining rissoles
NOTES
Freeze uncooked rissoles in separate freezer bags. Can freeze for up to 3 months. Make sure you label and date it

I make mine pork sausage meat with sage, onion, minced bacon, bread crumbs salt and pepper coarse ground black only and occasionally amongst other things chopped apple, but not very often as I find them to sweet.

I rather think our recipes are a little (A good bit) bit older Nagi. I know mine is by over fifty years, and mine are older based on the Cumberland Sausage only they seem to be a bit light for my liking on the sage?

Try the chicken mince, it's really good and much healthier

He is doing g much better but is still not breathing on his own.
My daughter told my hubby that last week they were told it looked like he wouldn't make it. Which is why she wasn't taking calls except a quick call to her sister to ask us all to pray and all our churches to prayer.
I can't even comprehend what they were going through.

She hasn't left the hospital. He will be 7 weeks old tomorrow.

He was doing so well before this happened .
He should have still had 5 weeks and 1 day left in his mums tummy.

I'm not posting any photos as he doesn't look good in them

It says recipe from “The endless meal” maybe you’d better go to spec savers 😳

Then to circumvent any dryness, I'd definitely use minced streaky bacon?
Turkey mince ain’t dry if you cook it properly and I don’t eat pig 🐷
