Duchess steps back amid changing dynamics in their relationship

The rumour mill is churning once again, and this time, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are at the centre of speculation.

Reports suggest that Prince Harry is seeking 'space' from his wife, Meghan, which has naturally led to whispers of potential marital discord and even divorce.

Prince Harry's recent solo travels have added fuel to the fire.

The Duke of Sussex has been spotted without Meghan on several international trips, including visits to New York City, London, and Lesotho.

This is a notable change from the couple's usual practice of appearing together at public engagements and on global excursions.

While there are countless possible reasons for Meghan's absence, the timing has coincided with reports that Prince Harry is intent on rebuilding his public image.

‘This definitely feels like he is upping his game to cement his position as a serious player on the international stage,’ a source said.

‘He’s always been desperate to be taken seriously and people I know say his fall from grace will really have got to him.’

This has led to speculation that part of this image rehabilitation involves creating some distance from Meghan, who has faced her challenges in the public eye.

It's plausible that Meghan chose to stay behind to care for their two young children.

However, sources close to the situation have suggested that Harry's decision to travel alone was deliberate, with one insider saying that Harry 'wanted it this way' and 'wants space.'

The past few years have been tumultuous for the Sussexes, with personal and professional setbacks.

Some have interpreted Harry's recent solo tour as a strategic move to reassert himself as a significant figure on the international stage.

A source said that Harry is 'desperate to be taken seriously' and that his 'fall from grace' has likely deeply affected him.

While insiders acknowledged that Meghan may have legitimate reasons for staying home, her absence during the Lesotho leg of Harry's trip has raised eyebrows.

Lesotho holds a special place in Harry's heart, and the fact that Meghan has never visited with him has been pointed out as unusual, given the country's significance to Harry and his charitable work with Sentebale.

Royal journalists Arthur Edwards and Jennie Bond have noted that Harry and Meghan appear to be leading more separate lives lately.

They even speculated that Meghan might not return to the UK, a country where her popularity has waned, according to recent polls.

Meghan's unpopularity in the UK, where she ranks unfavourably in public opinion polls, may have influenced her decision to skip the London portion of Harry's tour.

Royal journalist Jennie Bond stated, 'Meghan is not popular. She doesn’t want to come back, and they are going their ways, to some extent.'

Arthur Edwards echoed this sentiment, observing that Meghan and Harry seem to be pursuing their projects and that Meghan's popularity struggles in the UK could contribute to their separate activities.

Despite the speculation, there's little concrete evidence to suggest that a divorce is on the horizon for Harry and Meghan.

It's more likely that the couple's recent decisions are part of a broader public relations strategy.

However, detractors will still jump to more sensational conclusions.
Key Takeaways

  • Prince Harry has reportedly been seeking 'space' from Meghan Markle, which has fuelled speculation and rumours of a divorce.
  • The Duke of Sussex has undertaken recent trips to New York City, London, and Lesotho alone, while Meghan has stayed home, which is not typical for the couple.
  • Insider sources suggested that Harry's solo travels may be an attempt to rebuild his image independently of Meghan's, although there could be various other reasons for Meghan's absence.
  • Despite public perception issues, particularly in the UK, where Meghan's popularity is low, experts believe the couple's separate appearances are more about PR strategy than indications of marital trouble.

Well said Ebby 👏 what a boring place it would be not to be able to have these discussions
I may have been misunderstood, discussions and differences of opinion are not the issue.

I object to the name calling and belittling.

Look through today's comments and see for yourself.

Really Anna saying this to Suzanne isn't very nice either like the pot calling the pan grimey arse
I was not saying anything inappropriate to Suzanne.

She said that we need discussion.

I agree. Discussion is the exchange of information and opinions (even differing opinions), no problem with that. None whatsoever.

In my earlier comment, I attached a comment made by a commenter today aimed at another commenter.

That person told the other and I quote:

'And it's you, with nothing of intellectual value to say'.

I did not say that.

It is someone else's comment made today.

I find that telling someone they have nothing of intellectual value to say extremely offensive and denigrating.

I'd ask that you re-read what I've written earlier to see that I am speaking about another person on this forum.

1. Stop shouting.
2. You wildly and very wrongly assume the reason for most people's dislike of these two.
3. You throw epithets at your chosen hate pile.
4. If you followed the news at all, you should have learnt that these two cockwombles threw our very dear Queen under a bus. They then gloated about it and their fall from grace to the world's biggest busybody. That is treason. They deserve to be dealt with accordingly and unpleasantly.

Thank you.

I live by the saying: ' If you can't be useful, be quiet'.

Unfortunately, the person I quoted earlier (the insulting one) wasn't either.

What I think us wrong us how people are attacking Harry and Megan and making out the sun shines out if Charles and Camilla’s backside

If you think this post is heated then you must not have seen too many post in here.

Most people say what they want to say then everyone is friends again.

Hi Suzanne,

Your comment was your opinion, everyone is entitled to have likes and dislikes. I am not upset when people don't think the way I do or disagree with me.

What I don't like is someone insulting another person because of what that person has said.

The example I used yesterday was from a person on this forum telling someone that she had nothing of intellectual value to say.

So he judged her to be intellectually inferior to him because she had not agreed with him.

THAT'S OFFENSIVE.

If I or you were to say that to a friend I am quite sure that the friend would be upset. And rightly so.

The people on this platform (me included), do not personally know each other, we have become acquainted through SDC. We share opinions and ideas but should maintain respect for one another by never insulting/offending the person we respond to.

People who do that are simply making themselves feel superior at the expense of the person they've called 'unintelligent' or 'ridiculous' or 'stupid'.

Anyway, I think I've said enough about conduct and respect. I'll leave it at that and say I often find many of the comments made here to be interesting and informative.

Kind Regards
Annna

I totally agree with you. I have actually commented to a couple of people on here that are like that, there bullying comment could push a person over the edge.

Warmest Regards

Does anyone care? There are far too many humanitarian crises going on in the world at the moment to care about those two!

Personally I couldn't care less about this couple as there are more things going on in the world causing concern. However, your rather sarcastic comment about "Pommies" is quite erroneous. When this lady joined the Royal Family she was welcomed with open arms in the UK. It was only after their fallacious interview with Oprah and Harry's "poor me" book that public opinion about the couple changed.
