Duchess steps back amid changing dynamics in their relationship

The rumour mill is churning once again, and this time, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are at the centre of speculation.

Reports suggest that Prince Harry is seeking 'space' from his wife, Meghan, which has naturally led to whispers of potential marital discord and even divorce.

Prince Harry's recent solo travels have added fuel to the fire.

The Duke of Sussex has been spotted without Meghan on several international trips, including visits to New York City, London, and Lesotho.

This is a notable change from the couple's usual practice of appearing together at public engagements and on global excursions.

While there are countless possible reasons for Meghan's absence, the timing has coincided with reports that Prince Harry is intent on rebuilding his public image.

‘This definitely feels like he is upping his game to cement his position as a serious player on the international stage,’ a source said.

‘He’s always been desperate to be taken seriously and people I know say his fall from grace will really have got to him.’

This has led to speculation that part of this image rehabilitation involves creating some distance from Meghan, who has faced her challenges in the public eye.

It's plausible that Meghan chose to stay behind to care for their two young children.

However, sources close to the situation have suggested that Harry's decision to travel alone was deliberate, with one insider saying that Harry 'wanted it this way' and 'wants space.'

The past few years have been tumultuous for the Sussexes, with personal and professional setbacks.

Some have interpreted Harry's recent solo tour as a strategic move to reassert himself as a significant figure on the international stage.

A source said that Harry is 'desperate to be taken seriously' and that his 'fall from grace' has likely deeply affected him.

While insiders acknowledged that Meghan may have legitimate reasons for staying home, her absence during the Lesotho leg of Harry's trip has raised eyebrows.

Lesotho holds a special place in Harry's heart, and the fact that Meghan has never visited with him has been pointed out as unusual, given the country's significance to Harry and his charitable work with Sentebale.

Royal journalists Arthur Edwards and Jennie Bond have noted that Harry and Meghan appear to be leading more separate lives lately.

They even speculated that Meghan might not return to the UK, a country where her popularity has waned, according to recent polls.

Meghan's unpopularity in the UK, where she ranks unfavourably in public opinion polls, may have influenced her decision to skip the London portion of Harry's tour.

Royal journalist Jennie Bond stated, 'Meghan is not popular. She doesn’t want to come back, and they are going their ways, to some extent.'

Arthur Edwards echoed this sentiment, observing that Meghan and Harry seem to be pursuing their projects and that Meghan's popularity struggles in the UK could contribute to their separate activities.

Despite the speculation, there's little concrete evidence to suggest that a divorce is on the horizon for Harry and Meghan.

It's more likely that the couple's recent decisions are part of a broader public relations strategy.

However, detractors will still jump to more sensational conclusions.
Key Takeaways

  • Prince Harry has reportedly been seeking 'space' from Meghan Markle, which has fuelled speculation and rumours of a divorce.
  • The Duke of Sussex has undertaken recent trips to New York City, London, and Lesotho alone, while Meghan has stayed home, which is not typical for the couple.
  • Insider sources suggested that Harry's solo travels may be an attempt to rebuild his image independently of Meghan's, although there could be various other reasons for Meghan's absence.
  • Despite public perception issues, particularly in the UK, where Meghan's popularity is low, experts believe the couple's separate appearances are more about PR strategy than indications of marital trouble.

Best thing he could do would be to divorce M !

Don't know that he will instigate a divorce.....it will cost him a lot and that really would leave him with not to much SPARE change.....on the other hand, if his enabler instigated the divorce then she would be able to live a righteous old ROYAL life with her mother and the kids, like I believe might not be too far off her original agenda.
