I would have put a "laugh" emoji but as someone who has dyslexia my heart went out to this person. I always have a "dick-chin-eerie" close by - but there are times when I laugh at what I have written and have a good giggle at my own expense.

Predictive text can change what you put in. I cannot type a certain league players name in right. Mr Mitchell always comes up as Latrine Mitchell, I put the right spelling in and it changes to latrine every time.

I wish lazy bums didn’t use acronyms which I’m fairly sure they make up half the time.

I share your problem, recently I ordered some Compression Socks online. When they arrived they weren't able to get open enough to be used they were so impossibly tight. I was disgusted ,
, a lot of emails later they have agreed to give me back 60% of my money. And oh gee !!!!!! I could even get to keep 3 pair
of useless socks. Go figure !!!!

My wife needed some full length stockings for a short time.
We went to a specialist shop for them - one that also sells walking aids, bathroom accessories etc etc.
Prices on their website were only around 10% of the shelf prices.
But ... after correctly measuring length of leg, circumference of calf/thigh ... we were given the correct ones for her. The prices were nothing compared to the benefit afforded her.

I had to fit them for her every day.
Hard work and sure toned up my arm muscles but they were exactly what was needed for her at that time.

Amazingly the swelling subsided on its own after around 2 months, and they are no longer needed.
