Catherine stuns in her first official appearance as the Princess of Wales

It was a welcome relief to see some glamour and royalty last night as the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge hosted a state banquet at Buckingham Palace for South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
For the occasion, Catherine, the Princess of Wales, donned an elegant white caped gown by Jenny Packham, adorned with shimmering beading and a boat neckline - definitely fit for a princess! And on her head was the Lover's Knot Tiara - one of her favourite pieces.
The tiara was originally commissioned for Queen Mary in 1913 from the House of Garrard and is crafted from diamonds and 19 hanging pearls set in silver and gold. It eventually belonged to Queen Elizabeth II who later lent it to Diana, Princess of Wales.
It was said to be one of the late princess's favourite tiaras, and after Diana's tragic passing, it was then given to Catherine when she married Prince William in 2011. Such a beautiful tribute to not only Diana but all royal women before her!
The Princess of Wales accessorised her look with two badges - one being the badge of the Royal Victorian Order, which she received from Queen Elizabeth II herself back in 2019. The second badge was the yellow Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II which is bestowed upon female members of the British monarchy. Talk about regal!
The banquet is the first official state visit since King Charles III ascended the throne on September 8 following the death of his mother, and the first state banquet at Buckingham Palace since Donald and Melania Trump were received by Queen Elizabeth in 2019.
It should come as no surprise that this wonderful appearance stunned thousands of people on the internet, with many describing the Princess as the 'most regal and graceful of them all'.
'Princess Kate will make an amazing Queen!' said one, while another went on to comment: 'Catherine never puts a foot wrong and is always well dressed for certain occasions like this one. But then again, she is a natural beauty.'
A third added, 'Sheer elegance, a true Princess of our hearts,' with a fourth saying, 'She is just breathtaking! She wears the term "Princess" very well. She has earned her title and continues to grow into the Queen. Bravo!'

It was lovely seeing some much-needed glamour again, and we can't wait until we can see more stately occasions taking place! Well, what do you think, folks? Let us know in the comments!
