The iconic chocolate brand is combining one of their best-selling flavours with the all-time classic biscuit Breakaway.

Now, fans can get to enjoy the classic caramelised white chocolate flavour of Caramilk coupled with layers of crispy wafers and creme, and an indulgent chocolate centre. Yum!

The new Caramilk Breakaways will be available in 180g blocks for $5 and can be found in selected supermarkets from April 1. By April 20, the latest creation will become available nationwide.

While the latest flavour won’t be hitting the stores until next month, hundreds of fans have already expressed that they can't wait to taste the twist on the popular flavour.

“I’m way too excited for this!” one person wrote on Facebook, while another called the new treat “heavenly”.

Meanwhile, others are celebrating because they correctly guessed the new release. One woman wrote: “I said to my partner last night that it would be Caramilk Breakaway. We can’t wait!”

What’s more, Cadbury is also giving a limited number of lucky Aussies the opportunity to experience Caramilk Breakaway ahead of its national launch.

If you want to be one of the first in Australia to get your hands on Cadbury Caramilk Breakaway before it hits supermarket shelves, keep an eye out on the Cadbury Dairy Milk Facebook page or their Instagram page.

There are only 100 free chocolate blocks up for grabs daily, so hurry members so you don’t miss out!

Cadbury’s Caramilk flavour was first launched in Australia in 1968 and was once a permanent fixture on their product range, but it was discontinued from Aussie shelves in 1994.

Since then, fans have clamoured for the company to bring back the classic flavour, even suggesting Cadbury replace their least popular ones, such as Snack or Fruit and Nut.

When the chocolate company finally gave in and relaunched the flavour in 2018, the release prompted mass shortages on supermarket shelves as customers stockpiled the treat. Some people even went as far as selling it on eBay at ridiculously marked-up prices!

In 2020, Cadbury Australia finally answered fans’ prayers and made Caramilk a permanent product line again.

Remember when.....
Late 1950s, in Melbourne, MacRobertson's chocolate factory produced a block of chocolate called Caramac.
It was all caramel, the block was thinner and flatter than say, Cadbury's, and the pieces snapped apart very easily.
It was very sweet.

Bring back the Snack block instead of all these new tangled flavours or have them as well.
