Poor Nana. It was a mistake. The way the awful granddaughter is carrying on you'd think a murder had been committed. 'I am absolutely crushed by this,' said the bride. '[The photo] is currently still up, and my entire family has seen it or commented on it.'

The bride demanded her grandma take the photos down and told her the mistake had 'hurt her deeply'.

The grandmother was apologetic when her granddaughter confronted her about the incident.

'I'm so sorry; I was trying to send you the pictures. I don't know what I did that it showed up there,' said Nana.

I don't believe it's appropriate to judge others' opinions on this site. One of the reasons I joined Seniors Discount Club, is that I've always felt that it's a safe space to express myself. Lately I've noticed other members gratuitously criticising other members. As seniors, surely we have a level of maturity that allows us to read the opinions of others, privately disagree, and keep scrolling.

Not hurtful, just honest.
Your off hand comment about ignorance not being bliss show how little understanding you have for someone who fluffs an intention with one slip of the finger, simply because of a lack of knowledge. If the girl had any feeling for her Grandmother, who most likely put her life aside to raise her, she would try to seek understanding that people like us sometimes get this modern technology thing wrong.

It is not the end of the world for the bride, but certainly a nasty, hurtful reaction against the person who raised her when others perhaps couldn't. She has banned her grandmother from the wedding. There was no mention of who is paying for this wedding. I hope it's not grandma.

My thoughts exactly! The hubby to be should be wondering what might happen if/when he upsets the biarch he’s marrying!!??
I’m not surprised by this - it’s pretty much par for the course with some of the women getting married these days - it’s all for the look of the wedding & not much for the meaning of what you’re doing! Let’s face it, marriage nowadays is not “until death do us part” it’s more like “until further notice”!!!
