Bread and milk

Move over, Oreos! In simpler times, Aussies snacked on the humble bread and milk. Some mums would even add a splash of vanilla extract to the warm milk, while others opted for condensed milk for that extra kick of sweetness. Did you use to indulge in this treat? We even sometimes after soaking bread in milk (sometimes with a bit of herb or beaten egg) would fry it in a dry pan. Yummy - get in my Tummy.

Then you are going with more of a French toast. Omg I think I will make French toast tomorrow morning

My absolute all time favourite breakfast….when I worked at the local takeaway, my boss would make this for us, so we could all have breakfast together before we started work…it was his treat to us every first weekend of the month….yum
