This has happened all areas, not just food, even back when I was a teen (70s) and mum worked in fashion where they did that. Remove original ticket put a new one on with higher pricewith price slashed, so didn't have the original ticket to compare to, but it was higher than the original. She later worked in electrical and same thing..

They are simply reducing the price of 450 lines by less than they have increased them over the past 9 months. Every other item on the shelves have also increased are will still increase to cover the cost of the reduction of the 450 items.
