I just wish SDC would completely stop promoting all 4 supermarkets. We all have to eat, so we know what's going on in the thieving supermarkets. They have increased prices numerous times, even though the product have decreased in size and weight!
SDC newsletter will be more interesting if replaced supermarket promotions with travel promotions etc
As I do not travel I like to know what the supermarkets are doing

Has anyone noticed that when the supermarkets do their "famous price drops" supposedly to help us, things go up elsewhere on the shelves to make up for it. Dog food has gone up by over 1/3, deodorants have almost doubled, look at the price of vitamins and health food aisle items. I could keep on listing as there are so many rises

I love the idea of the price drop but much of what is dropped in the way of packaged items can be their own brand and a lot of them are made overseas. This takes away income from local producers. I am willing to pay extra for local products. One example is garlic, most comes from China and the other is tinned tomatoes. Lots from Italy and other places. SPC is still Austrlaian
Yes and the garlics bleached to make it white👎

Not everyone can afford to travel or want to travel but keeping us informed about what supermarkets are doing is very important to some of us who can’t get out to shop because of disabilities😁I for one appreciate the information given by sdc🙏

Lets hope this is true especially considering export is not what it used to be.

The Supermarkets would have you believe that they are much like Father Christmas.....bringing you a sack full of toys, but they really are more like the Grinch who has stolen your wallet. 🎅🎄🕵️‍♂️👮‍♂️🤔😱😢😉
