What bull💩 dropped price's 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣they put everything up by as soon as there is a crisis 🤔not straight away but price's went through the roof now they say they are dropping price's what a joke 😳 don't be fooled by this South African owed company 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Strange. Woolies put the price of sourdough bread up to $7 about 6 months ago and dropped it to $6.50 about 2 weeks later. So this i s not a valid price drop. Usual b.s. from supermarket chains.
Yes that’s how they play the game, years ago customers thought it was great but customers today have got smarter their trickery is seen for what it is, a game play

W hen grocery shopping recently I noticed that. Arnotts chocolate chip biscuits went from $3.50 to $5 hardly a price drop. As a lot of items I buy.

Never trust what supermarkets tell us, always so many cunning sneaky tricks up their sleeves! My thoughts were shrinkflation here we go, but i reckon you nailed it with the price hikes before the "price drops" Should be a law against their legalised robbery!

What they didn't mention is that they'll probably introduce more and more meaningless "freebies" in return for another $30 or so shopping experience in their stores. What'll it be next ... thousands of piccies of football players on a bit of cardboard (just think of the bonanza there -- so many codes/players/teams to choose from)? And then, the biggest one of all, our eagerly awaited Olympics. Which chain has the dibs on that one?

Not really as it does 't affect me as i SHOP ON LINE

I just wish that SDC would stop advertising this information as if they owned the company and were trying to entice sales. The amount of needless sales guff that goes with each advertisement by SDC leads me to believe that they are trying to sell items on behalf of the retailer and doing so under the guise that they are informing seniors on where the deals are. My only conclusion is that SDC are receiving some form of kick back by using this advertising platform and promoting the retailers.

Please remove this process and make the information succinct, to the point and eliminate any notion of a conflict of interest. A mail out could read:

'Woolworths have announced a substantial price drop on a number of their items in store. This they say it is in response to increasing costs of living. Below is a list of those items. Without substantial research it is difficult to say whether this is genuine or not therefore members are advised to consider this for themselves when shopping next"

They have put the prices up so many times now they are reducing them. The supermarkets cannot be trusted with pricing especially when they reduce an item that is say $5.00 and they take off only fifteen cents. I know as I worked in a similar company. They always put up to 300% on most items then they are reduced just for us 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I love the idea of the price drop but much of what is dropped in the way of packaged items can be their own brand and a lot of them are made overseas. This takes away income from local producers. I am willing to pay extra for local products. One example is garlic, most comes from China and the other is tinned tomatoes. Lots from Italy and other places. SPC is still Austrlaian
