Members! It's (finally) time for another competition!

This month, we're looking for the best piece of advice you've ever received OR that you've given. Did your mum tell you to wash behind your ears or always eat your vegetables? Perhaps the advice was to be kind to strangers. We want to hear from you.

The top answer will win a $100 voucher to (your choice) of either Woolies, Coles, IGA or ALDI. We plan to run this competition until the end of October.

Happy writing! We can't wait to read all your wonderful advice!

Best advice I got while learning to drive was when driving around a bend in the road to favour whatever hand the bend was in the direction of. In other words, if the bend is veering right then favour your right hand and the opposite for a left hand bend.

The best advice I ever received was “Never wait until you can afford a house, borrow as much as you can to buy the biggest and best”. Years later I understand why.

When my first child was born, my father told me he would never interfere with my parenting but his advice was when disciplining children “mean what you say and say what you mean” never threaten something that you could not carry through but DO carry through with what you said you would.
