A large township close by the Tea Tree Gully Shopping Centre, and a number of eateries. There are also some good watering holes in the area. Fairview Park is known for its beautiful location in the foothills of the Mt Lofty Ranges, green open spaces, the creek that meanders through it, and its Golf Course. Golfing fanatics were known to see a house they liked in the suburb and they would play a round to ensure the golf course was as good as promised before purchasing a house!!
