The choice is hard but l have had family & dear friends who have passed with cancer.
With 4 daughters l am very aware of breast cancer & friends who were afflicted by this.
For those reasons l nominate THE CANCER COUNCIL
Save the Children but a hard choice all deserve the money and could use it48 hours to vote for your favourite charity!
Hi guys - as of the time of writing this post, our 'post for charity' initiative (https://seniorsdiscountclub.com.au/...ount-club-christmas-charity-fundraiser.40964/) has about 11 more hours to run... The chances are, by the time you see this thread, the other one will already be closed - thanks to everyone who posted, it looks like we will be donating close to $1000!
Now it's time to choose your preferred charity. The top 5 choices were:
Matt Talbot hostel for the homeless
Cancer Council
Save the Children
The Royal Flying Doctor Service
The Salvation Army
Please select your choice from the poll above (you may need to scroll up). We'll run this until Saturday the 23rd December 11.59pm (Sydney time), at which point entries will close and we'll announce which charity gets the donation.

It is not just in the outback they serve. They also serve by transferring patients from one hospital at one end of the region to another in the far end of the same region. They cannot be praised enough for the work they do and are always cheerful when doing it.I vote for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Apart from providing an essential service across our vast outback, they bring help, hope and happiness to many people who could not operate in the outback without the RFDS. Hopefully, in your travels across our wide brown land, you will not need their service, but they are always there should the need arise. Happy Christmas to all and we look forward to a better 2024.
