I worked for Vinnies for years as a volunteer. It is now a business as far as I can see because those in charge running 3 or 4 shops are WELL paid will cars, computers, phones etc included. & get extra bonuses whenever a shop exceeds their budgeted profit.

As usual older Australians are left to deal with rising costs and little else in the way of assistance - Groceries at supermarkets going up by $2 and then reduced by 50cents and we are told it's a bargain - Energy costs as usual are well and truly on their way skyward as usual and I am adding...

If I need to wait to be accommodated at a serviced checkout I will ALWAYS do so. My opinion is I AM NOT AN UNPAID EMPLOYEE AND HAVE NO DESIRE TO BE ONE.

These public servants? are paid a disgusting amount for servicing mainly their own pockets. These monkeys are paid far from peanuts that's for sure and exactly how much monkeying around was done to allow this?

I consider it an insult to intelligence and it appalls me that people may actually think we are like that.
