Woolworths just made a 'sneaky' change to their Rewards program

What choices we have to make! Don't prompt for charity donations but do prompt for using Rewards dollars or vice versa or always prompt or never prompt! I think that in the case of the donations, Woolies should have enough customer info that says this customer doesn't make donations at the...

Huge price hike! Coles and Woolworths food prices skyrocket by 10%, rising fast than inflation

And Woolies have the hide to sell these at half price -

Today Show host Karl Stefanovic exposes truth about how the government is treating pensioners! - ‘What is going on?’

Why would we pensioners vote for someone else's "voice" when they (Albo & co) don't listen to ours?

Today Show host Karl Stefanovic exposes truth about how the government is treating pensioners! - ‘What is going on?’

And here is a hot off the press headline: Power bills to soar in cost of living hit Of course, along with rent increases, pensioners are sure to be covered next September, aren't they?

Today Show host Karl Stefanovic exposes truth about how the government is treating pensioners! - ‘What is going on?’

These pension increases only occur every six months while the cost of living goes up on a daily basis. By the time the pensions are augmented, the cost-of-living is already higher and pensioners have to deal with the extra costs until the next "increase".

Today Show host Karl Stefanovic exposes truth about how the government is treating pensioners! - ‘What is going on?’

What's happened to the government's commitment to keep the pension in line with the cost of living? Surely rent is part of the cost of living! Note that Albo and Chalmers are very quiet on the subject.

2023-4 Federal Budget: What does it mean for you?

These increases are supposed to raise the pension to meet the cost of living. The reality is that this never happens because the cost of living is higher at each increase and continues to rise all the time. So pensioners fall behind and the government doesn't give a flying......

Your treasures could be worth a fortune: eBay sees skyrocketing prices for modern collectibles!

BTW these items may be "lying" around, not "laying" as the Americans would say. Lay is a transitive verb and therefore has an object. You lay a table, a plan, a trap but let sleeping dogs lie.

    Not so Hot Cross Buns

Not so Hot Cross Buns As a single pensioner, I cannot wear the lack of consideration by Woolies and Coles where they price things lower if you buy two instead of one. Take Hot Cross Buns, for example. $6.00 for two packs (of six), $4.00 for one. I'm unlikely to finish one pack in a week and I...

Pension up $2.68 a day. What can that even pay for?

Here's the reality! Pensions and welfare only change a couple of times a year while the cost of living grinds ever upwards. This diagram shows how ineffectual the "cost of living" adjustments are. The salmon coloured areas are where "beneficiaries" have to pay their own way, dipping into...

Mounting Pressure on Government for Cost of Living Relief - Will There be a Break in the Federal Budget?

The government keeps crowing about how pensioners get an increase to match the cost of living every six months. As we all know, all this does is to raise the pensions to meet the cost of living difference at a single point twice a year but does not take into account the increases over the...

    Joke You Might As Well...

You Might As Well... When our lawn mower broke down and wouldn't run, my wife kept hinting to me that I should get it fixed. But, somehow, I always had something else to take care of first, the shed, the boat, making beer... Always something more important to me. Finally, she thought of a...
