I (female) would politely decline such an offer from a stranger (any gender). The operative word is "stranger". They might run off with my stuff; it does happen! When necessary, I've asked Bunnings staff for help with heavy/bulky items and they've been great. But I decide when that's necessary.

Woolworths Australia is not "overseas owned". And making a business decision to stop stocking cheap rubbish that doesn't sell is an awfully long way from sedition 🙄 (Before the accusations start, I've never worked for them, and I own no shares in any company anywhere.)

Yes I know, it makes no sense whatsoever. There are some quite large areas (e.g. Broome) where there is no street delivery and every household has a PO box, unless they want to queue up with ID at the counter. Luckily, online ordering systems usually aren't capable of recognising the Pobox trick!

I've found that giving the address as 'Pobox 123' instead of 'P O Box 123' usually works.

Over the past 10+ years, I've visited Centrelink in various states & territories for various reasons. I now live in Bunbury. No-one has ever told me to go away and ring for an appointment. Could you try another office? You don't have to keep going to the same one.

There's no need to waste perfectly good food! The mushrooms we buy in shops come from specialist mushroom farms and there's no problem with them. You can usually see the growers' details on the cardboard trays on shop shelves.

Presumably the owners of this site have taken legal advice about this type of content? Defamation cases aren't cheap. Same goes for some of the more opinionated members. Hiding behind a nickname won't save you.
