I enjoy all music genres including all years of music.
I actually have access to the latest music/songs from artists due to my brother being a Mastering Engineer.
His role means that he is the last person to check that the music sounds right or it needs adjusting in his studio before it hits the public. His mastering collaborating involves clients worldwide.

Agreed! 👍

Loved the sixties..music was about fun, sun and love.
Woodstock was the best music festival ever and that was at the end of the sixties. Also groups like the Beatles, Joe Cocker, Cream, Credence clear water Revival (CCR), Procal Harlam, Eric Burdon and the Animals, The Rollingstones, the Doors, Moody Blues, Mott the Hoople, Sonny and Cher, Steppenwolf etc to name a few. These guys all then went onto the seventies and then the music scene really kicked off.

i enjoyed 1965 to 1975 as a teenager listening to music but to put it to one decade I would say the 70’s. I loved the variety music, understanding the words and nice clean looking artists. some of my favourite were Queen, Deep Purple, Steppenwolf and Black Sabbath. Then also Rod Stewart, Neil Diamond and many more.

Your Say Sunday Poll: When was your favourite decade of music?

Is it Sunday again already?! Where did the time go?

A huge thank you to everyone who participated last week.

It's time for another question and this week we're looking at music!

When was your favourite decade of music?

Maybe you were a child at the time, but as an adult, that decade's music resonates with you. Or maybe it's the memories that dictate the favourite decade! You decide.

We can't wait to hear from you!
Maybe the 1720s? Baroque, anyway.

Definitely the 1980’s. So many memories from the early 80’s onwards and hearing the songs brings them back again. Even my boys agree we had the best music through the 80’s!

Late 60s and the 70s were great times for music (not disco though!). Many songs from that era are timeless and are as popular now as they were then.
