I would love to be able to achieve more peace of mind.

I hear you! To be in pain 24/7 is so draining, I've recently been put on morphine but we're still messing about trying to get the dosage right, so far without much success but I live in hope! :(
And the problem is what do these pain relief meds do to us.

I'm on Lyrica and my specialist said he doesn't want ne on them for too long .
So far it's only taken the edge of a little and he is sending me to a pain management clinic, who knows what they are going to do 🤔

We have been blessed with minding our three month old (now one year old) great grand son for one day a week this year while his mother teaches. This has really been a highlight of our year and I have gone to bed every night with a smile on my face and a cheer in my heart at the joy this little boy has brought us. I must admit that I did have a sad moment when I thought that as we are both in our 70's that we will not live forever and life is so good that more time with this precious boy is the one thing I would wish for.

I was on lyrica but it did next to nothing for me. I also attend a Pain Management Clinic and have had nerve ablatement electrical injections which also didn't work. CBD oil was a spectacular flop as I couldn't take the stronger one as I still need to drive. We are now messing with the strength of the morphine patches I now have and there have also been whispers about an operation which is the road I think I will eventually have to go down. :(

My father saw a pain management clinic for his debilitating migraines that wouldn't go away.
Morphine patches was a godsend for him when he was alive.
My SIL uses morphine patches for her medical issues too. The patch stick on their upper arm.

I wish for better health but I'm managing with my hubby helping out. Most of all I wish my daughters have more time for me as they work a lot. One does not speak to me anymore and I don't know why, not even a text or phone call. Enough of my whingeing.

I don't have much money but I survive well on DSP. I have my daughter and 2 adult grandys.. and my son in Japan, so have heaps of love. Time is a plenty everyday. Now to fame, well I was on telly in the kids audience when I was six, so I think I am ok.

I wish we had doctors that knew how to help heal problems rather than give us pain killers.

Good Health would be what I wished for. It's not until you don't have it any more that you realize what a precious thing it is.
That is so true, and as I look down the road of decay and old age making living very difficult, I do wish for health. Especially when I see friends of the same age out playing golf & tennis, swimming and walking. I can only wish for health

It's not whingeing. Here is a safe space, among friends to let your feelings out. Sometimes we all have to vent and that's ok, even healthy. Let out as much or as little as you are comfortable with. :)
