The Excavator boots, which feature an upturned-toe box and Balenciaga branding in white text against jet black, come at a whopping $1,810 online!
For something that looks similar to the classic British Hunter Wellington gumboots that usually go for under $250, this is a heavy price tag.
Not surprisingly, the hefty sum has had online users scratching their heads in confusion.
One person on social media said: 'Balenciaga wellies. What an absolute bargain'.
Another person chimed in with: 'For people with skinny feet and super wide legs'.
