Woolworths worker admits to “losing his mind” while attempting to answer a bizarre question about the supermarket

"Are there more wheels or doors in the world?"

The ongoing debate has been pestering the minds of the younger generations from all across the globe, with many groups joining the bandwagon to philosophise and answer the question.

Apparently, the seemingly sarcastic trend has made its way Down Under!

And in a not-so-surprising turn of events, Woolworths has jumped in to join the hype to answer the question "no one asked" (a Woolworths employee's words, not ours): "Are there more wheels than doors in Woolies supermarkets?"

Woolies team member Liam Kirley, who runs the official TikTok page of the supermarket giant, has shared a video of him giving a tour around a supermarket store, attempting to answer the bizarre question.

In the video, Liam can be seen walking through the aisle and staff-only areas, showing how many doors and wheels could be hiding in one store.

Liam starts his tour in the staff break room where he checks every corner for the possible "existence" of wheels and doors, describing the experience as "easy".

However, in the succeeding tours, things start to get more difficult for the Woolies worker...

Liam admits that he was starting to "lose his mind" when he attempted to start counting the trolleys.

He says in the video: “Trolleys, ok, one .... I’ve lost count, I’ve lost count. I’ll have to start again. I’ll estimate it to be a million. One mill.”

The staff member then walks through the chilled and freezer departments where scores of doors could be found.

He then goes to another restricted staff area.

“I went to the back dock but realised I went through two doors,” he says.

“Turns out the back dock was not my friend because roll cages have wheels and doors.”

Liam then walks around the store where he finds himself astounded with the fact that a lot of things have wheels and doors on them, including grocery items.

He exclaims: "This is the moment I started to lose my mind!"

Finally, Liam ends the tour, saying: “So answering the question no-one asked, ‘Are there more wheels than doors at Woolworths? There are more wheels!"

The video went viral, amassing more than 1 million views and thousands of comments from TikTok users who seemed to be puzzled by the whole trip.

One person asked: “Did you include the wheels of cheese?”

“Do you have hot wheels in the toy section?” another inquired.

A third chimed in: “All the wheels in the conveyor belts too.”

Well, we honestly have no idea what is going on and we're equally sure we also have no answers on whether there are more wheels or more doors in the world.

It's all harmless fun. As long as their daily quota of work is complete I don't see a problem with this, however, I bet if you got two or more people doing the same area you'd come up with widely varying numbers!:geek::cool::)
