Woolworths unwraps a merry feast: Deck the aisles with biscoff and cheers!

As the holiday season approaches, Woolworths is decking the aisles with a festive food collection that promises to bring the best of Australia to your Christmas table.

With the unveiling of their latest range, Woolies is set to make your holiday feast a memorable one, offering a variety of classic dishes, new flavours, and beloved returning favourites.

This year, Woolworths has outdone itself with over 100 specially curated products developed by their in-house brand team in collaboration with Australian suppliers.

The collection is a testament to the supermarket's commitment to quality, taste, and local produce, ensuring that your Christmas spread is not only delicious but also supports Australian farmers and producers.

Among the new products to grace the Woolworths festive lineup is the Biscoff Trifle, a decadent dessert that's sure to be a hit with those who have a sweet tooth.

For the main course, the Macro Chicken Roast with Honey, Macadamia, and Orange Stuffing offers a modern twist on a traditional favourite.

Seafood lovers can look forward to the Salmon Gravlax, while the Fruit Mince Pies with Apple Brandy add a luxurious touch to a classic holiday treat.

Returning by popular demand are the Gold Davidson Plum & Gin Tarts and the Pavlova Wreath with Daintree Vanilla, both of which are set to become the stars of your dessert table once again.

Louis Eggar, Managing Director of Woolworths Food Company (Retail), emphasised the range's aim to provide customers with a wide variety of dishes and desserts designed especially for an Australian Christmas.

‘The team has really thought of everything this year, not only is it about great taste and value, [but] we also want to take the pressure off preparing the Christmas lunch,’ Mr Eggar stated.

‘That’s why we’re bringing back a number of products in oven-ready trays, including the Gold Bacon Wrapped Boneless Turkey Breast filled with sourdough and native thyme stuffing.’

‘For those who love to cook, our award-winning hams are back and we are working with our farmers and producers right across the country to make sure the best of Australian fruit and veg are in abundance for salads and side dishes,’ he continued.

Desserts are taking centre stage with the Gold Fruit Mince Pies, featuring butter shortcrust pastry filled with plump Australian vine fruits and apples, infused with Willie Smith’s Tasmanian Apple Brandy.

The Gold Pavlova Wreath is also back, and Australian honey-roasted macadamias are featured in the Gold White Chocolate & Macadamia Pudding.

Not excited, seems like a pretty expensive meal with not much choice to me. I’m sure the portions would be quite miniscule if what is listed has to feed 6/8 people.
