If you don't like the price ask the assistant to remove it from your receipt there is no reason to be a consumer statistic just because you feel bad about speaking up for yourself that's just common sense, not everyone can afford to spend over their budget and perhaps look at the price and where its from first, I personally wouldn't buy overseas fruit or veggies but each to their own.

hey, basic common sense, check the price before you buy. if you get to the check out and its too much - don't buy it - the store will be ok with that even if it is fresh produce. Basically, get some common sense and grow a pair of balls and return the item if you don't won't it. I have absolutely no sympathy for pathetic whiny people.

Usually, just before x-mas, the price of grapes go through the roof (and everything fruit & vegetables). Last x-mas I asked my son to go to the fruit & veg store with a list and grapes were on it - cost for the bag of grapes was over $20! He just didn't notice, just grabbed what was on the list - Oh My! I choked on that Waldorf Salad on the day. It happens!

There was no price on a specific prepared meal one day but when I got to the check-out & was told the small pack was $10 I promptly said “I don’t want it then”. Guess someone had to then put that back in cold area. Speak up, no one is forcing anyone to buy anything!
