Who doesn't love a hearty chicken dinner? We bet every one of us here does! But unfortunately, cooking a tasty, filling meal from scratch can be pretty time-consuming – especially if you're not much of a chef.
But luckily for us, there are now some great shortcuts when it comes to preparing chicken dinners at home. And one of the best shortcuts around is Woolworths' pre-prepared Chicken Sandwich Schnitzels!
These schnitzels are available from the Woolies deli and typically retail for $2.50 each. But if you request (and depending on availability), you may be able to get your hands on them at the promotional price of just $1.25 per schnitzel! And even better – you can buy them in bulk!
'Not sure if I've been living under a rock, but you can buy the Woolworths deli sandwich schnitzels by the box!' one shopper wrote in a social media post. 'There are 30 schnitzels in a box, and as they were $1.25 each, I got them for that price.'
'You just ask at the deli counter,' she went on to say.
That's right, members - if you go to the deli counter and ask nicely, they may sell you an entire box of 30 schnitzels for just $1.25 per piece.
Just think of all the money you could save by doing this instead of buying them individually. Plus, it should give you plenty of leftovers for lunch or dinner during the week ahead. Win-win!
Of course, schnitzels aren't the only item you can purchase in bulk at the deli counter - apparently, there are lots more up for grabs!
These include favourites such as kievs, chicken skewers (by trays of 20), hot dogs, burger patties and chicken mignons… so there are plenty of options to choose from depending on what your family likes to eat.
A representative for Woolworths said that the company's bulk buy purchase is just one more way that it offers 'excellent value' to shoppers.
'We know some of our customers prefer to buy certain goods in larger quantities, and in the Deli department, they can buy fresh products in bulk like chicken sandwich schnitzels, chicken kyiv, and more, depending on the store's availability,' they said.
