Why did this popular radio star lose her licence? It's more surprising than you think!

Jackie O Henderson has been at the centre of a whirlwind of speculation regarding the loss of her driver's licence.

After weeks of mystery, the radio star finally shared the truth behind the incident, shedding light on the unique situation that led to the unexpected result.

Here's what happened next…

Jackie O Henderson revealed the real reason behind the loss of her driver's licence, finally putting an end to weeks of speculation.

The radio star, 50, shared on air that she had been caught wearing her seatbelt incorrectly while trying to protect a fresh spray tan.

'I always wear it over me, but it was just that one day because I had got a tan,' Jackie explained during her KIIS FM show.

Jackie was placed on a 12-month good behaviour period, which meant she had been driving with one demerit point for a year.

However, she lost that point in the final week before earning all her points back.

'I got through the whole year by one week and then lost it,' she said.

The news came after reports that Jackie had lost her licence and was being driven around Sydney by an elderly gentleman who wasn’t related to her.

Two weeks later, Jackie confirmed she had indeed lost her licence and admitted it had been difficult not being able to drive.

She shared on air that she had been gifted a trip to the Blue Mountains by her friend Gemma O'Neill for her 50th birthday.

'Gemma–my best friend–she's given me a weekend away to a silent retreat,' Jackie said live on air.

But Jackie joked about how she would get there, given that the retreat was more than 110 km away from her Sydney home.

She mentioned she would need to catch the train, as the trip that normally takes 1.5 hours by car would take over three hours by public transport.

Jackie’s 50th birthday celebration had already been a special occasion on air, with her KIIS FM co-stars throwing her a lavish party—though one key person was absent.

Kyle Sandilands, Jackie's long-time co-host, had missed the event due to illness.

A large spread of party food was laid out in Jackie's honour, along with posters featuring throwback photos from her childhood.

She was joined by her close friends, including show producers Intern Pete Deppeler and Cooper Johns, and her daughter Kitty, who sweetly called in to wish her mum a happy birthday.

Despite the absence of Kyle, Jackie appeared glowing and youthful as she celebrated her milestone birthday.

Seems like she is a bit of a careless driver being down to having only 1 demerit point left.
I also don’t really care who she is…. you do the wrong thing while driving then you deserve to be penalised. Have respect for others on the roads.

NO. If she had lost all her points, I would say she is a bad driver. Have no sympathy for people who think the rules should be bent for them. Also, with all the money she earns I am sure she could afford an Uber to take her to her holiday weekend.

It wasn't a road rule mistake it was deliberately done to save her spray tan.
Why is SDC making light of a deliberate intention of breaking the road rules?

I actually think she should stick to Public Transport, sounds like she is a very reckless driver with only having 1 point left.
