Wheel of Fortune contestant becomes famous for his hilarious answer—'I just went blank'

A recent moment on a popular game show has taken the internet by storm, thanks to one contestant's unforgettable response.

The hilarious mix-up has quickly gained attention, leaving viewers in stitches and sparking conversations online.

What was meant to be a simple answer turned into a comedic goldmine, reminding us all that sometimes, the best moments happen when things don’t quite go as planned.

When it comes to game shows, we've all had our moments of shouting answers at the TV screen, convinced we could do better than the contestants under the bright studio lights.

However, one Wheel of Fortune contestant's guess has not only made the rounds for its inaccuracy but also for the sheer hilarity it brought to the show—and to viewers at home.

The contestant, Will Jordan, found himself in the spotlight during a recent episode of the US version of the show.

The puzzle seemed straightforward enough, with the phrase ‘___E _OURSE_F A ROUN_ OF A___AUSE’ displayed on the board, hinting strongly at the phrase ‘give yourself a round of applause.’

However, under the pressure of the game and with only a few tiles missing, Jordan's mind took a culinary detour.

In a moment that has since been viewed over half a million times, Jordan confidently offered the guess, ‘Treat yourself a round of sausage.’

The studio audience erupted into laughter, and even the host, Ryan Seacrest, couldn't help but join in the fun.

‘Will, I kind of like yours better,’ he quipped. ‘That sounds better than just clapping right now.’

The game continued, and fellow contestant Kitina eventually solved the puzzle correctly.

But it was Jordan's ‘missolve’ that stole the show and captured the hearts of viewers across the internet.

The show's social correspondent, Maggie Sajak, daughter of the legendary former host Pat Sajak, later interviewed Jordan about his now-famous moment.

‘I tell you, when the lights are on, and you know, the stars and Ryan Seacrest, Vanna White…I just went blank,’ Jordan explained.

‘But, if your dad, in retirement, is watching this show, maybe cracks a beer and gets a laugh, it was worth it.’

Sajak assured him that her dad would be watching the episode as Seacrest appeared on the video, holding a cue card to send a message to Jordan's family.

‘Playing Wheel of Fortune on stage is a whole different ball game than playing at home, but Will was a great sport about his missolve!’ the shop captioned the post.

Jordan, a retired Coast Guard veteran and current School Resource Officer with the Rocky Hill Police Department in Connecticut, has taken his fame in stride.

As the holiday season approaches, he's using his newfound notoriety to drive donations to the Rocky Hill Human Services Food Bank, as mentioned on his police department's social media.

‘I’m sure I’m gonna have sausages in my locker and police car when I get back, so we’ll try and have some fun with it,’ Jordon told Sajak on her social media post.

When my eldest son was 4 he was stung by a Bee 🐝 and his whole hand and arm upto his elbow tripled in size.
Two days later it was still very swollen when he appeared on tge kids show Romper Room

Miss Helena spoke to each child and when it was my sons turn she asked what happened to his arm. He went on to tell the story of getting stung by a bee 🐝 and how he was alergic and now hates bee's . He told her how his dad stomped on the bee and killed it.

The mascot of the show was Mr Doobie the 🐝

All the parents were in the Green room and all the parents but me couldn't stop laughing .

This was also the same son who had our friends laughing their heads off.

We had maybe 3 couples over for lunch when my son blurted out that his dad and mum sometimes has showers together to save water. 💧 🚿

Just goes to prove the shocking standards of American education. This dude can't past four! GIVE has four letters, meanwhile TREAT has five letters!

Years ago, I witnessed an atlas from an American middle school. It dedicated one page each to every US state, but omitted New Zealand and Tasmania in the world map on the inside cover!

That isn’t surprising considering that the American education system doesn’t seem to know anything exists outside of the good ol’ USA. How does the average student learn if they’re not taught?
