I have always loved banana and cheese toasted sandwiches. Great on cold winter evenings.

Standard "Flo's pumpkin scones" but add a teaspoon of curry to the mix! Noice!

As a child, my after school snack was vanilla ice cream topped with All Bran and copious amounts of strawberry topping.

Around the same time, a schoolmate's breakfast comprised of dry Corn Flakes doused in tomato sauce....nothing else!
I’m not sure if you will find these odd or not:
1. Green apple & liquorice.
2. Watermelon & onion salad
3. Home made fruit salad & sour cream.

I’ve always loved cottage cheese (or Quark if you can find it), and honey on black bread. In my younger days we had cows and my mother made Quark every week. It was so delicious.

For breakfast I love, fried mushrooms and eggs on soy and linseed toast all topped with salt and pepper and sweet chilli sauce

Anchovies, melon and ginger jam with a lashing of hoi sin sauce all on raisin toast washed down with a bottle of Bond 7 Scotch Whiskey.

Breakfast of champions!

My Uncle always had his cornflakes with pineapple juice. I'm thinking you can't eat cucumber, so try vegemite and tomato. (hope it's not the vegemite) :)

All is good with vegemite and tomato, which I both adore. But I've never had them both together

Thanks for the suggestion!

When you're craving something tasty late at night with a beer, better than pizza and much cheaper. ;)

Tim Tam,s with Gorgonzola cheese spread on top 😋.
Don't knock it till you try it . You will be totally surprised .
Sounds yum,2 of my fave snacks together, will definitely give this one a try, thankyou, some combinations of sweet and savoury foods together sound weird but until you try them you will not find out how good they taste. An SDC member a couple of months ago said to try Vegemite with Raspberry Jam, I did and it is now the only way I eat Toast with Vegemite, so yummy and I admit that my usual taste fancies are not really weird just different, as we all are;)

Vegemite, celery and walnuts on whole grain rolls.
Peanut butter and Vegemite on toast
In early days, mum used to give us Vegemite and gravy on bread that was our treat for the day
