Ordered washing machine yesterday. Delivered today and paperwork is now lodged and acknowledged. This rebate scheme has really helped us out. There was a lot of details needed from us but if you have your paperwork in order, it seems to work well. you do need to download copies but taking a screenshot and photos of the various bits of information requested and uploading them to the application worked for us. Finances will be very tight here for a while as this scheme seemed to come upon us very quickly .update
pour rebate arrived about few days ago. We needed a new washing machine so this worked well for us but l realise it does not work for everyone and is not Australia wide.

Just another expense where they give it to you in one hand because its the taxpayer paying for it. Another expense instigated by extremist view on climate change that will cost us trillions in the next few years. If we got back to basics we would know that the "scientific" facts are based on no solid foundation. There is no climate change as such. Yes the climate changes all the time , drier winters hotter summers cooler summers wet summers etc. Its been fairly stable in the last 4,000 years. Not changing now. As a pensioner buying a new washing machine would mean I would have to go without many essential items, it would be good if I knew how to apply or knew someone to do it for me sadly I’m not very tec minded and only know the basics of my iPad. Now let’s say I did work it all out and a few weeks later they say sorry you missed out I would be absolutely livid not only would I be out of pocket buying something I couldn’t afford also going without food all because the government says MAYBE we can’t promise you anything, maybe you’ll get your money and maybe you won’t, shame on you treating pensioners that way.
