Who here used to listen to music on a walkman back in the day? This was the first mobile electronic device that allowed us to listen to music privately. You could create your own cassettes or purchase pre-recorded cassettes of your favourite album. Who still uses it today?

Walkman & their copies were terrible for eating power from the batteries..... Cost a fortune to run on Batteries... Tapes didn't last all that long either.... I suppose I did use the bought tapes until they self distructed.. ... tape every where... I had a tape player in My car which worked great for a while before eating the tapes... I can remember seeing tapes on the road with all the tape pulled out.... probably from a disgruntled car driver..... I am surprised the tape player etc lasted so long, it was a complicated system ... destined to fail.... Welcome CDs.... Lee 68autobug
