    Hi, I am 73 years old Happily Married with 4 children and 8 grandchildren... .. I restored My 1968 Volkswagen Beetle between 1997 and 2005 and its now on Historic plates Historic plates . I am also a Ham Radio operator.. I live in the Upper Hunter Valley of NSW.

    Hi Jaclynn , Yes, it took Me 10 years to strip My Beetle and rebuild it and My Son painted it silver. I love driving it about locally. I have done many trips to Sydney and the North coast of NSW to VW shows. also to Newcastle many times. Ham Radio: I love talking to people all over Our great Country, and around the world.     Hi VinylTed, No I don't think Amateur Radio is a little redundant as there are many things You can do, and Yes You need to do those things Yourself... like making antennas, connecting them all up, etc... I have 3 computers etc but I still love My Ham Radio... My Beetle is a semi Automatic with NO clutch pedal...& its all been stripped down years ago and put back together... by Me... 68autobug VK2LEE Lee

    Absolutely love the bug great job ,I did a 67 bug for my daughter took 3years, and 15 Mims for an idiot to destroy it😡
