There's not much better than a recipe that's cost-effective, easy and still tastes great. Well, you're in luck because we have yet another recipe that ticks all three boxes. You only need to use one pan and five ingredients and you'll have dinner ready in a breeze! The ingredients will set you back around $12 but you'll have leftover puff pastry to use for all sorts of delicious meals in the future.

Ingredients:
Method:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan forced. Heat a medium ovenproof frying pan over medium heat. Spray with olive oil. Add vegetable mix and cook, stirring, for 3-4 minutes or until just softened.
Step 2. Add the Napoli pasta sauce and cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until warmed through. Stir in the beans and oregano. Remove from heat.
Step 3. Lay the pastry sheets over the pie filling at alternate angles. Press edges to seal. Fold points inwards to create a decorative edge. Cut 2 small slits in the top of the pie for steam to escape. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until puffed and golden.
Doesn't this sound delicious? You could, of course, add some chunky steak or mince to this recipe for some added protein! But to keep costs low, this vegetarian option is a great choice!
