Urgent Update From The Seniors Discount Club

‼️Important Update About Our Newsletters‼️

The Seniors Discount Club Needs Your Help!

We’ve recently encountered an issue with some email providers, including iCloud, incorrectly marking The Seniors Discount Club newsletters as 'Spam.' This has impacted thousands of our valued members who are currently not receiving their daily updates. We’ve tried emailing affected members directly to let them know we are having issues with our newsletters, but every time, the email fails to send.

To prevent further disruptions and ensure we’re not incorrectly flagged as spammers, we’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily pause our newsletters to the impacted members while we work with these providers to resolve the problem.

Please know that this issue is beyond our control, but we’re doing everything we can to fix it as quickly as possible. Your patience and support mean the world to us, and we can’t wait to get back into your inbox with all the latest news, deals, and updates you love.

If you can, please continue to visit our website daily, as we will continue to write our daily stories! And we will of course, keep you up to date with everything that is going on on our end.

You can help us out by: Marking us as 'Not Spam' if your inbox ever suggests we are and by moving us to your 'Main inbox' or 'Primary inbox' so your email domains know we are not 'Spammers'.

Thank you for sticking with The Seniors Discount Club—we’re looking forward to reconnecting with you soon and we so appreciate your support!

Hi Maddie,
I am receiving the morning emails each day no problems, Just a thought could some people could have their settings for incoming emails (to stop spam emails) set to high and it's blocked some incoming emails one of which could be from Seniors Discount Club?
Just a thought because I had mine set high going back a few years ago I found out that I was not received some email from different businesses that send daily emails.
When I sent it a bit lower I started receiving all my emails that I sucribe to.

I don't know if there's a way to do this now this we several years ago. I hope that you find a solution quickly for everyone who is missing out on receiving your daily emails.

I look forward to reading this SDC email every day I might be hours behind everyone else reading the emails but rest assured I read everyone.

I congratulate you and everyone else who writes and produces the newsletter it's very good of all of you to freely give your time to produce 2 newsletters each day ( I know that there's only a morning newsletter at present).

Thank you all for your effort and time you freely give to produce all of these newsletters, you time and effort are appreciated greatly.

Devastating 😭

Just sharing this message from Maddie as well:

Hi members,

With our newsletters having to be on pause for a little while, we are still building our newsletters so you can hopefully read them here! You can access our afternoon newsletter here. The preview link will look a little different, but hopefully, everything else works okay!

I am so sorry again for all of these issues. We haven't missed a single newsletter in almost 3.5 years. This afternoon was our first and it has been heartbreaking! Here's hoping everything is fixed soon.

Thank you all for your support!
Jon, Maddie and the SDC Team.
Thank you for letting me know

I haven't received them either and I forgot my password, it's saved in here but not on the app which I had to use recently as I was in hospital again last week so I missed out.
Lucky they now supply tv's for free otherwise I would have been bored to death lol..

I'm sure this isn't your fault or the fault of any others in this SDC Team. I myself are not blaming you all and am sure there are a lot of other members àre not blaming you. Good luck with this problem and all take care. Best wishes ❤️😍

Since when do they supply free tv. I was in hospital a very short time ago and didn't get tv supplied. But good on you. When I was in hospital was bored as hell. Couldn't afford to get the tv on.

In the Lyell Mc hospital in Adelaide, which is a public hospital, they have tv's above every bed in the wards, you just pull them down to watch. It was great because you could pull them right across the bed when I was sitting in a chair on the other side.

Well unfortunately I'm not in Adelaide. I'm in Victoria. Nothing's free here

Stingy lot lol
Yes they are a stingy lot. They forget not everyone going into hospital has a job. They aren't paid to be in hospital and people on pensions are not paid to be in hospital and people who are working are not getting wages while in hospital so how are we supposed to come up with the money to pay for this dear TV subscription while we are in there. They are greedy🤧

That explains why I haven't received a newsletter since Oct 22. I use GMX for my main email account which I receive via Thunderbird. I checked the GMX file on Thunderbird and also directly on GMX but all spam boxes are empty.

I remember being in hospital years ago and the cost of hiring the tv was $70 for 3 days, who could afford that back in the late 90's and early 2000's

Who can afford it now? What are we all supposed to be wealthy. When you're in hospital you still have rent to pay. There is no way the landlord will let you off paying rent(just because you are in hospital) you still have your gas and electricity bills, which may come in while you are in hospital. Where the hell are we expected to get money to pay for something to keep us occupied instead of staring at four walls and the doctors and nurses walking around doing their thing crap for brains

I could never afford it, I remember when my partner was in hospital years ago, a friend of his in Qld sent a payment through to get him a tv for a week, he was very grateful, if starved of boredom.

As if we've got that money now. People are scraping to get food on the table they are going without a lot of things that are just a daily staple required. So where the hell are they supposed to get money to hire a ruddy TV?
Wake up you idiots without brains
