Two Ingredient Cakes, You Choose Flavour

Here is an amazing cake recipe that turns out very light and fluffy:
One can of soft drink, any flavour,
One pack of plain wrap cake mix (or a fancier one if you prefer)

Fold soft drink into sifted cake mix, pour into a well-greased pan, and cook at 150 degrees C until skewer comes out clean. Takes about 45 mins or so.

Combo ideas:
  • cola and choc cake mix
  • orange and choc cake mix
  • orange and orange cake mix
  • vanilla coke and choc cake mix
  • lemon and lemon cake mix
  • lemonade and plain cake mix
  • soft drink and Gluten Free cake mix - yep, it works, I tried it!
Have fun!

I substitute the soft drink with a can of fruit - is so yummy 😋
But I will definitely try this combo out, like the sound of the lemon and lemon 🍋

I tried the package chocolate cake mix with canned/bottled morello cherries in pie maker. Yummy just like black forest cake.
