TV Host Exposes Ben Affleck's Shocking On-Air Behavior – See Why He's Being Called 'Rude'!

In the world of celebrity interviews, we often see a polished veneer of charm and engagement. However, according to seasoned journalist Sarah Ferguson, not all stars shine brightly during these interactions. The host of the current affairs show 7:30 has recently shared her less-than-stellar experience with Hollywood actor Ben Affleck, calling him one of the worst interviewees she's encountered in her illustrious career on Australian television.

The Sydney Morning Herald’s Sunday Life magazine was the platform where Ferguson candidly discussed her encounter with the actor. She described Affleck's demeanour as standoffish, noting that he seemed disinterested and merely going through the motions. 'He was just rude,' she said, painting a picture of an A-lister who appeared to wish he were anywhere but in that interview chair.

The interview in question took place last year when Affleck was on the promotional trail for his film 'Air,' which tells the origin story of the iconic Air Jordan sneakers. However, the promotion seemed anything but smooth, with Affleck giving off a downcast vibe, his attention frequently drifting off-camera, and his responses meandering to the point of incoherence. The interaction was so lacklustre that only a handful of the questions posed by Ferguson were deemed suitable for broadcast.

But Affleck's troubles don't seem to be confined to awkward interviews. His personal life has also been under scrutiny, with his marriage to superstar Jennifer Lopez showing signs of strain. The couple, who have been married for two years, have been dogged by split rumours as they've been living on opposite coasts – Lopez soaking up the summer in the Hamptons and Affleck spotted around Los Angeles.

The rumour mill went into overdrive when Affleck was conspicuously absent from Lopez's opulent Bridgerton-themed 55th birthday bash on July 24. An insider told Fox News Digital, 'Ben didn’t come to celebrate Jennifer’s birthday because they are done. Totally done. They are not getting back together.' On the day of Lopez's celebration, Affleck reportedly closed on a new $20.5 million home in Los Angeles while Lopez was finalizing the sale of her New York City condo.

Communication between the two seems to have broken down, with the source indicating that any interactions regarding their children are done directly, bypassing each other. The couple's time apart has been notable, with public sightings becoming increasingly rare, except for significant events like school graduations for Affleck's children, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Lopez has twins, Max and Emme, with her former husband Marc Anthony.

This revelation about Affleck's professional and personal conduct has certainly raised eyebrows. It's a reminder that the pressures of fame can sometimes reveal a side of celebrities that the public isn't used to seeing. For readers over 60 who have seen the ebbs and flows of many a star's career, this might not come as a surprise. After all, the golden age of Hollywood was not without its own tales of diva behaviour and personal turmoil.

Key Takeaways

Well for starters, as far as Sarah Ferguson is concerned, she is a real Leftist compare.
That's the only reason why & how she is employed by the "Way Out Of Concept", ABC.

From what I have observed by her, & her attitude, no one else would employ her.
For the posting to describer her as having an "Illustrious" career is a complete "Misnomer".
It's certainly what I describe as a very "Unillustrious" career.

Just another very good reason why I don't watch the ABC.
As I mentioned in another previous post, the ABC needs the "Cleaner" put right through them, starting with the general manager needing replacing.
The whole mob is just a bunch of sheer hypocritical dill bills.

What's worse is, that we, the tax payers are paying all their wages.
What a god damned joke.

Really?

A journalist interviewing an American "celebrity" becomes a political issue?

Talk about seven degrees of separation!

Like most "celebrities",obviously he thinks he is a class or two above real people.
These "stars" have no idea about the real world, or reality in general.
They live in a fantasy world and have fake friends.
Why people idolise these fakes is beyond me !!
Same with Jerry Seinfeld who shrugged fans off with a ''not now'' when he was asked for an autograph.
Can't stand him.

A hypothetical.

If some Sky News Australia flog interviewed Affleck, what would be different?

But Sky is driven by the capitalist stinkbomb known as "Murdocracy", a wart on the nose of Australian media.

Ben is a functioning alcoholic, which has ruined his marriage to Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez (twice, amongst other issues, so some days are better, others not so much
I remember the dramas they went through. Not only alcohol, but, also gambling issues. High roller stuff.
We all have to deal with the highs and lows in our life. If he can't deal with what is going on, he can get his full time assistant to screen for him and make apologies. No good doing anything of a public nature when one is screaming in agony on the inside.
I have been there. I have been forced to live behind a mask of normalcy to the point of near breakdown.
I would not judge without having the facts. Just leave him to his misery and walk away.

If they want to have success out in the public and have to do promotional tours for their latest film, then that is their job and if they aren’t doing a good job they should be sacked like anyone else. Meg Ryan gave a diabolical interview years ago with Michael Parkinson … never saw her again afterwards.
