TV Host Exposes Ben Affleck's Shocking On-Air Behavior – See Why He's Being Called 'Rude'!

In the world of celebrity interviews, we often see a polished veneer of charm and engagement. However, according to seasoned journalist Sarah Ferguson, not all stars shine brightly during these interactions. The host of the current affairs show 7:30 has recently shared her less-than-stellar experience with Hollywood actor Ben Affleck, calling him one of the worst interviewees she's encountered in her illustrious career on Australian television.

The Sydney Morning Herald’s Sunday Life magazine was the platform where Ferguson candidly discussed her encounter with the actor. She described Affleck's demeanour as standoffish, noting that he seemed disinterested and merely going through the motions. 'He was just rude,' she said, painting a picture of an A-lister who appeared to wish he were anywhere but in that interview chair.

The interview in question took place last year when Affleck was on the promotional trail for his film 'Air,' which tells the origin story of the iconic Air Jordan sneakers. However, the promotion seemed anything but smooth, with Affleck giving off a downcast vibe, his attention frequently drifting off-camera, and his responses meandering to the point of incoherence. The interaction was so lacklustre that only a handful of the questions posed by Ferguson were deemed suitable for broadcast.

But Affleck's troubles don't seem to be confined to awkward interviews. His personal life has also been under scrutiny, with his marriage to superstar Jennifer Lopez showing signs of strain. The couple, who have been married for two years, have been dogged by split rumours as they've been living on opposite coasts – Lopez soaking up the summer in the Hamptons and Affleck spotted around Los Angeles.

The rumour mill went into overdrive when Affleck was conspicuously absent from Lopez's opulent Bridgerton-themed 55th birthday bash on July 24. An insider told Fox News Digital, 'Ben didn’t come to celebrate Jennifer’s birthday because they are done. Totally done. They are not getting back together.' On the day of Lopez's celebration, Affleck reportedly closed on a new $20.5 million home in Los Angeles while Lopez was finalizing the sale of her New York City condo.

Communication between the two seems to have broken down, with the source indicating that any interactions regarding their children are done directly, bypassing each other. The couple's time apart has been notable, with public sightings becoming increasingly rare, except for significant events like school graduations for Affleck's children, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Lopez has twins, Max and Emme, with her former husband Marc Anthony.

This revelation about Affleck's professional and personal conduct has certainly raised eyebrows. It's a reminder that the pressures of fame can sometimes reveal a side of celebrities that the public isn't used to seeing. For readers over 60 who have seen the ebbs and flows of many a star's career, this might not come as a surprise. After all, the golden age of Hollywood was not without its own tales of diva behaviour and personal turmoil.

I like Ben Affleck as an actor. I don't know about him being rude, but to me, he looks depressed, just because he's an A-Lister doesn't mean he's immune to mental health issues.
He doesn't like being in the spotlight ... very private man ... his soon to be ex wife was the one who likes all the adoration!
