Today star’s hilarious, racy slip of the tongue captured during a live segment

Only several days after The Morning Show host Matt Doran’s Freudian slip, another unfortunate TV personality faced a similar, hilarious fate.

Today star Brooke Boney found herself tripping over her words after muttering an X-rated term during a live segment on Tuesday morning.

Ms Boney was in the middle of announcing Justin Bieber’s tour to Australia later this year when she accidentally made a slight pronunciation error. She meant to refer to the international pop star as a ‘singing sensation’ but she caught herself saying ‘sex-sation’ on-air instead.

The show’s host Allison Langdon immediately noticed the blunder, saying: 'Oh!', while Brooke attempted to shrug it off. However, she struggled to recover and ended up laughing throughout the segment.

After the spicy fiasco, Allison asked the entertainment journalist what happened during her report.

‘I am just trying to get you to explain what you said a little earlier when you called him a sex-sation,’ the host said.

Ms Boney, who was clearly humiliated by the slip-up, playfully denied saying it.

‘Singing sensation,’ she reiterated. ‘You guys must have misheard me.’

Fortunately for the journalist, unintentionally muttering ‘sex’ on air is nothing compared to Craig Bennett’s tooth falling out in front of thousands of viewers on Wednesday.

The 59-year-old was updating Studio 10 hosts Sarah Harris and Tristan MacManus with the latest celebrity news when he was forced to abruptly stop reporting.

‘Hang on, I think my tooth is about to fall out,’ he said.

After telling the hosts that he wasn’t joking, Sarah and Tristan can be seen looking puzzled.

'Craigie, Craigie, are you okay?' Sarah asked before Craig yanked out the loose tooth and grinned for the camera.

'What did you do? Did you bite into something?' Sarah continued.

'I did, I can’t believe it,' the star responded, breaking out into another toothy grin.

'Not something you see on telly every day, is it? Now I’m whistling as I speak… That’s going to be really lovely, isn’t it?’ he added in between fits of laughter.

Sarah assured him that he looked okay but that he resembled an 'adorable chimney sweep'.
