This woman swears by this FOUR-ingredient hangover remedy - here’s how you can prepare it yourself!

It has happened to most of us — you have one (or five *wink*) too many drinks at your mate's place, and the next morning you wake up feeling like absolute rubbish. We’re talking about the dreaded hangover!

There are few things more frustrating than being absolutely knackered but not being able to fall asleep due to a throbbing head and an upset stomach. Add in cottonmouth, dizziness and anxiety, and you’ve got yourself a real winner of a day (note the sarcasm, folks!).

Unfortunately, there's no magic cure for a hangover – but there are definitely things that can help make the aftermath slightly more bearable. And if you're looking for a remedy that's both effective AND budget-friendly, then look no further!

There are only four ingredients needed to make the 'Indian hangover drink' that a TikTok user, who goes by the username @desigirleatstheworld, claimed would heal all hangover symptoms. The four ingredients include coconut water, lime (juice and zest), seltzer water, and black salt.

Preparing the drink is also simple, according to the TikTok user, all you have to do is fill a large jar with seltzer water, add in a few splashes of coconut water (the right amount will depend on how much water you’re making) and lime zest.

Set the mixture aside and prepare the lime juice. To do this, simply microwave the lime for ten seconds, squeeze the juice from one-half of the lime and add it to your jar.

Finally, add a dash of black salt, stir the concoction, and enjoy!

The woman claimed that the drink has never failed to make her feel better whenever she experienced hangovers in the past and encouraged the viewers to try it themselves.

The post has captured the attention of thousands of social media users, who speculated that the key ingredient to the drink was black salt.

Iron, calcium, and magnesium are among the vital minerals found in black salt, commonly referred to as Kala Namak in Indian homes.

Health professionals agree that black salt is good for your health and that Indians believe it to have various medicinal effects.

Additionally, Indian wellness company BodyWise claims that black salt aids digestion, calms muscle spasms, and improves heart health.

Seltzer water, lime, and coconut water are also great sources of hydration, which will aid digestion and help you feel better after drinking.

Several users also took to the comments section to reveal that they had tried the recipe before, and they loved it as well, with one user going as far as to say that the 'Indian hangover drink' was better than Gatorade!

One person praised: 'What a great tip thank you so much for sharing.'

'Wish I knew this trick back when I drank,' another said.

A third chimed in: 'It works!'

Just a disclaimer, folks: always seek professional medical advice before attempting any home remedies.

Also, please take note that consuming copious amounts of alcohol can have adverse long-term effects on your health, so please contact your doctor immediately if you have issues or concerns with your drinking habits.

Unfortunately my 23 year old son eats healthy throughout the week and goes to the gym at 5 30 before work then after work.
Plays cricket on the weekend but unfortunately goes out drinking every Saturday night .
He drinks this little bottle of what he calls goodness before he goes out and another one when he gets home, I don't know how he Remembers when he is drunk.
I hope he grows out of it soon 🙏😒

Fortunately for me, a man who never drinks won't need this recipe. Thanks all the same.
