This Side Table Hack Will Turn Your Life UPSIDE DOWN! A Brilliant Idea Converting side tables into stylish planters

Have you ever felt like your bedside tables are just collecting dust and taking up space in your home? Some folks are guilty of just getting rid of their side tables when they feel like they're not as good as when they first bought them. Little do they know, that, over time, a side table can come to play a different role if you just THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX!

So if you’re trying to think outside of the box right now, trying to come up with a creative way to breathe new life into your old side tables, then this hack is for you!

Here are the things you need to prepare:

1. Old Kmart side tables
2. Artificial plants (or real ones in smaller pots!)
3. NOTHING MORE!!!

Luckily, the Kmart side table is very versatile. Just flip it upside down and put the artificial plant (or real plant) in it. Was it too late for you to notice that it's hollow? Mind-blowing, eh? The same goes for the original poster of this hack!

'Sure did! It took me 12 months to think of it!' Katrina replied to a comment asking if she just flipped the table upside down.

She revealed that this idea was never planned. It was just one of those a-ha moments when she accidentally discovered that her side tables were actually hollow!

'I had my plants sitting on them, but I was never happy with the way they looked!'

"I started thinking about what I could do. I turned the larger one upside down to discover it was hollow and filled it with my artificial plants!'

'I was looking for something to match my decor and it was staring at me the whole time. Such a simple and easy hack, and now I love it... I don’t actually do much DIY, but this was just an ah-ha moment! '

Some of the folks commenting are concerned about how the material might quickly rot from water damage and dampness.

Well, just like we mentioned in the things you need to prepare, Katrina used an artificial plant. But this is still a good idea for others looking for a more aesthetic planter!

'I absolutely love this idea!' One person exclaimed.

This is an awesome idea that we can adapt and set up in no longer than 10 minutes!

We believe there are a lot of things we can add to the decoration, like led lights, paintings on the wood, and whatnot.

And HOW is this going to turn MY LIFE upside down?

The thing that would turn my life upside down is if my legs were growing out of the top of my head.....
I don't see a couple of plant holders stopping life as mwe know it.

All this hack does is turn a table upside down......

My clever hubby turned our two side tables upside down and put lids on them so they are now used for storage of blankets etc as well as side tables.
