Hi Julie

To make your images smaller, just run them through this website: https://tinypng.com/

After doing so, you should be able to upload your images.

Let me know if you have any issues!

I too are having trouble to load, it says file too large. I have tried photos from camera and phone but will not load.

Jonathan, I've twice tried to upload photos I've taken to his site but it can't do it and says that its too large for the server. I use a Canon Eos 80D camera and they are jpeg and not Tif. I haven't had any problems loading my photos to anywhere else before this. I really love photography and was hoping to share some of my photos. It also looks like I'm not the only one.

This is Blue, a South African masked parrot, in other words a love bird. Since my husband's recent passing, Blue has been great comfort to me.

Hi guys! It's 2022, and we have a new competition for you... This one is for the photographers (amateur, professional, semi-professional - we don't mind!) among us.

There's no theme or requirement for any professional equipment - entries using smartphone cameras are perfectly acceptable.

The only rules are that the photo was taken by you, and that you include a sentence or two to give us a little context/back story about the photo.

We'll be announcing a winner a month from now - i.e. Feb 11th.

Good luck!

P.S: If you're having any problems uploading your pic(s), please let me know and I'll see if I can help!

My first portrait painting of my first granddaughter

SHE WALKS IN BEAUTY By Lord Byron

She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that’s best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes;
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o’er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express,
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.

And on that cheek, and o’er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!

This photo taken in Hong Kong reminded me of a child's pyjama bag - very relaxed and floppy :)

An area where I frequently bike has often caught my eye making me think of a possible sunset photo opportunity. This shot is from the Wes Barrett park on the banks of the Ross River in Townsville
