The Pain Continues: Find Out Why King Charles is Still Upset With Prince Harry - Inside Glimpse From The Palace

Marking a major milestone, King Charles will celebrate his 75th birthday on November 14th, 2023. For this, the palace released a special portrait taken by photographer Rankin, which showed the King with a twinkle in his eye and plenty of wrinkles – as a reminder that despite him taking the throne well beyond retirement age, he’s still determined to use his time on the throne productively.

Though a milestone birthday can usually be cause for celebration, rumours claim that something is still ‘amiss’, between King Charles and his youngest son, Prince Harry. The birthday portrait of King Charles, signifies that although the King may not be publicly addressing the rift between him and Harry, that doesn’t mean it’s not still an issue.

In fact, it was revealed that the divide between the two is still causing Charles ‘great pain’. As it turns out, the source of all the tension between father and son is the ‘anguish’ Harry caused his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, in the last years of her life, coupled with the King’s displeasure at the insults Harry has directed at his wife Queen Camilla.

Unfortunately it looks like this particular issue won’t be patched up anytime soon, as King Charles will be celebrating his milestone birthday with a small dinner gathering amongst friends and very few family members. Although, as we all know, never say never.

Since taking the throne, Charles has become a master of routine, rising at 7am sharp for his daily Royal Canadian Air Force exercises—known as 5BX—followed by a breakfast of eggs, toast and honey. He then logs in and out of his work at regular, consistent times.

It's Charles’ passion for the outdoors that makes the most of his time away from the throne, though: walking, gardening and working on his farm—an activity he's been filmed talking about with immense passion—fills his free time.

Queen Camilla is also by Charles' side on many of his engagements, an understanding between them that they need their own space. The couple have separate homes, friends, and interests, in what friends consider a 'sensible and pragmatic' approach to the stresses of royal life. It's quite common to see 'his and her' cars waiting on the runway for them following a foreign tour.

But despite his simple life, Charles is still currently experiencing pain involving his younger son, Prince Harry. A rumour reached the media that there is presently 'barely any level of communication' between Charles and Harry. Although Charles hates conflict and says the door is always open for his youngest son.

Key Takeaways

  • King Charles has marked his 75th birthday and the occasion has been marked with a portrait taken by Rankin, which is due to appear on the cover of the Big Issue magazine.
  • The King, despite some ongoing issues with his sons, is said to be invigorated by the challenges of his role and seeks to use his time on the throne productively.
  • There is little to no communication currently between Charles and son Harry, with Charles allegedly still angry about the anguish Harry caused the late Queen and his criticism of Camilla.
  • Alongside his royal duties, Charles values his time for personal interests such as music and outdoor activities, and both he and Queen Camilla maintain a degree of independence in their lifestyles.

Whether or not Charles and Harry will come together and reconcile remains to be seen. For now, we wish the King a most joyous birthday celebration—albeit plain and simple, as he prefers—as he embarks on another year as the leader of Britain and the Commonwealth. Who cares quicker we become a Republic the quicker we get rid off these parasites 🙄

In countries where there is no Monarch, they have nothing but wars and trouble forever brewing.
I for one do not want a president in this country.
For all those who criticize King Charles, there are always 3 sides to a story, Your side, their side and the right side. He didn't choose to be royal he was born into it and trained from a young age. I don't believe he choose his first wife either. I think Camilla is nothing but supportive to him and the only thing you read about her is from the past.
Don't tell me none of you have been divorced or in an unhappy relationship or even still in one you wish you were free of.
Happy Birthday King Charles. 💐

Happy Birthday King Charles. 💐
He chose Dianna because he was forced into marriage and Camilla was not a choice as she was married and Charles mistress. Dianna thought he was genuine, Charles ruined her life , he loved Camilla not Dianna and if he left Diaana alone she may have found happiness and still be alive today.

Charles married a divorcee whom he was having an affair with while both were married to other partners.
His uncle was made to abdicate because he chose a divorcee who was divorced at the time and no children

People forget what Dianna was put through because of Charles and Camilla , Harry hasn't forgotten!

England has been at war many times
Both world wars
The crusades
Untol wars against France and Scotland
The Falkland war
The list goes on and this has occurred over many centuries
Just because they haven't been at war for 40 years, they have had more than their fair share

why do the media keep harping on about Harry. He is a prat. Happy Birthday to my King. Rather him running things in the background than some stupid aussie, ie PM. Keep the monarchy.

Please! Diana had her share of male escorts. She was not a shy petunia under the onion patch. The King had one love from years back.
