When I open my crossword, it is filled with letters or words. How do I get a blank beginning?

Close the email and reopen. Some nice member gave me this tip and it worked!

Crossword 25/4/24.. It is spelt GREY in Australia. GRAY is the American spelling..

No ovals in oblong! Might be elongated . . An oblong has 4 parallel sides and 4 right angles - no ovals!!!!

I correct myself, with apologies - oblong may describe a circle or oval stretched. I live and learn.

for some reason i often have to delete yesterdays letters from the new crossword grid. which takes up time.is there anything i can do to fix this.

Just close the entire email, maybe wait a minute, then reopen. Should be fine then. I did this today.
