Here, There and Everywhere?
The Honeymoon Is Over

As soon as the newlyweds returned from their honeymoon,
the young bride called her mother, who lived a couple of hours away.
“How did everything go?” her mom asked.

“Oh, mother,” she began, “The honeymoon was wonderful! So romantic,
we had a terrific time. But, mother, on our way back,
Andy started using really horrible language.
Stuff I’d never heard before. Really terrible four-letter words.
You’ve got to come get me and take me home.
Please, Mother!” the new bride sobbed over the telephone.

“But, honey,” the mother countered, “What four-letter words?”

“I can’t tell you, mother, they’re too awful! Come get me, please!”

“Darling, you must tell me what has gotten you so upset….
Tell mother what four-letter words he used.”

Still sobbing, the bride said,

“Mother, words like dust, wash, iron, cook.”

Sad but true with most young females these days.
Not just these days my wife wanted to be a home mother even though she was a qualified teacher she asked if I minded her not working which I didn't mind so she did all the house work there was nothing left for me to do as the kids grew up and did sport while I was still at work I would come home and cook dinner for every one I love cooking and I did more house work. My wife was a great mother to our 3 kids and now a great grandmother to our 6 grand children

My hubby and me did the same, then when the youngest got to High School I decided I would like to go back work. When that happened, we sat down and decided who was going to do what with the stuff at home. Also, we never once said "your Money & My Money" it was always Our Money, Our Home.
A lot of kids today don't understand that a relationship/marriage is an equal partnership between 2 people. Both must agree to the terms, if not, it will end in disaster.
