Did your mum use this old Sunbeam mixer from the ‘50s? These were real workhorses in the kitchen back in the day. It whipped up cakes, ice cream, and lemon meringue pies like magic. Did you help your mum bake using one of these?

we lived at my grandparents house till I was six she had one of these in the kitchen and I stood on a chair just like this sticking my finger in and licking beaters bought back wonderfull memories, right up to the time when my grandfather passed that mixer was still in the kitchen I was 18 then, I wish I had of taken it even if for nothing else but nostalgia and great memories,

Our Sunbeam stand mixer was terrific! It was second hand, and it lasted another 20 years, in my kitchen. They don't make them as good as that any more!
