Welcome, LadyMoonlight How soon will you be retiring?

I am on Long Service Leave at the moment, until the end of January next year. I want to get up to Gosford to look for a house to buy, but with the lock-down, I won't be able to travel until December 1. If I have not found a house to buy by the end of my LSL, then I will have to go back to work. I am 68 and I so need to retire!

Good luck with escaping lockdown, but you have abetter chance than we do in Vic!

Well the latest lock-down ends on Monday, but not for the unvaccinated, we don't get freedom until December. Of course, they can call another lock-down anytime it suits them. I imagine it will all be tied into elections - free the people or no vote. They can also announce any numbers for vaccinated people that they want too, as it's not like people listening to the news at home are going to check the numbers. I have gotten to the point where very rarely watch the news anymore because I just don't believe most of it.
