In my list of the "Five Worst Songs of all Time".

In saying this, the thread should be "Songs That Should Be Forgotten".

Just about all those songs mentioned were released in the 1970s, a complete musical desert with regard to innovation and inspiration.

The 1960s were the Golden Years of Music, headed by the British Invasion which trounced the mediocrity of American slop. The likes of The Kinks, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Hollies and The Animals made mince meat of the American counterparts like The Monkees, Beach Boys, Jefferson Airplane, Simon and Garfunkel and Blood, Sweat and Tears.

It wasn't until the advent of punk in the late 1970s, that music was kicked out of its dismal doldrums.
