Reminds me of a neighbour I lived next too she was always borrowing never returned anything at the time I was a single mum etc. So 1 day I just bought 2 of everything she had 4 kids single mum too. She had more responsibility than me. But am up front with people so I invited her in for coffee and said this week I counted on you needing extra stuff here in case you need it. Then I said next time you are shopping maybe you can return the favour. She never borrowed after that.
