When it's too cold outside, we snuggle up in front of the fire with a cuppa and Android in hand and catch up on SDC.

Here I am docked in New York about to start my journey back to Australia and making sure I read your informative Seniors Discount Club news every day.

To cut a long story short we were on a world cruise in 2017 when my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma and we had to abandon ship in Nee York to return to Australia for treatment. It’s now 7 years later, after two more relapses, a stem cell transplant and over 45 chemo treatments he is now well enough to travel.

After MUCH SERIOUS THOUGHT we decided to get back on the horse, and fly to New York to join the last leg of this year’s around the world cruise and finally finish our cruise started in 2017 back to Sydney. As our haematologist says. “Do it while you can”

We are so grateful to so many the medical staff and friends who have supported us with constant prayers. God has been good to us.

Getting your daily email keeps me in touch of what’s going on in Australia. If all goes well this trip I will be reading Seniors Discount News in Ecuador, Chile, Peru, Easter Island, French Polynesia, Tahiti, New Zealand, Sydney and finally Canberra when I get home.

Sincerely
Elaine

I like to read my newsletter cosy back in bed with a cup of tea whilst feeding my rainbow lorikeet. Yes it is a bit tricky but he's busy eating while I'm reading. He doesn't eat seed, he has made up nectar
Seeds not recommended for lorikeets anyway there digestive system isn’t made for it,you can also give them fruit and the powdered food don’t forget.I used to breed birds in tassie mainly lorikeets and princess parrots.👍(how do you cope with there disgusting squirty poohy wee in your house. 🤣 Yuk.

Yes he has the dried powder and fruit but he does like it made up with warmer water daily.

I love reading my newsletter with all your great tips. We're so lucky you guys care about us and keep us up to date. I make my smoothie and settle into the lounge, trusty Samsung phone in hand, to what savings are to be had. Thanks heaps 💰💸

Why do you call yourself beautiful Mousey😊
I needed a name to start in here and every time I picked one it was taken. I have a dog named mousey, I didn't name her but kept it because she answered to it and I think she's beautiful and figured no one else would have that name. Can change it in August if I want. Long winded I know

I think it’s a great name I just wondered if you had mice please keep it.👍

I had 3 hand reared lorikeets that used to talk they are easy to train as they are very intelligent one of mine lived to about 18 the others about 10 they played with my cats and dogs it was hilarious.😊so enjoy.
He does the same, he chases the cat, he tries to take food out of Mouseys mouth and don't know where he got it from but calls her cupcake
