I steam all my vegies . This is something I might look at purchasing.

I also steam fish and my son steams dumplings.

I currently use a microwave steamer and for larger amounts I use a double steamer on the stove
I have used a microwave vegetable steamer for years, I swear I have forgotten how to cook Vegetables using a sauce pan and water, apart from potatoes of course. I have tried to replace it (the steamer) for a few years but cannot find one the same.

I got a steamer with the points I collected for a Coles promotion for Master Chef. It’s awesome and I wish I’d have bought a steamer years ago. We definitely eat a lot more fresh veggies than we used to - they just taste so good

Stay with what you know Suzanne Rose. It will be a large gadget that obviously would get a lot of use with you but if it needs replacing often, then your current methods work for you and dont take up any more space. ;) ;) :)
I don't really see the benefit of this item over a stainless one used on the stove. I mean it still uses electricity. You still have to wash each compartment. You still have to add water. And to top it off it only lasts 2 years? A stainless steal one lasts many years. Plus no doubt other comparisons that I might find were I to purchase one - which I won't.
